Felicity Jones is a British actress best known for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular movie The Theory of Everything. Jones was first introduced to acting at the age of 12 years old. She has worked as an actor in a variety of TV shows, plays and film. Jones began her acting career by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch (a television series) in which she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college also featured her. She also played Young Ruth in her first movie Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in many movies. The actress gained acclaim for her role in films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was, however, her role in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, which is based on the author's life, was well-received both by critics and viewers. Inferno is a Tom Hanks-starring thriller. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talent and contribution to cinema.
