Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to receive a score of a perfect of 10 during an Olympic event. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi later the Romanian gymnastics coach when she was just six years old. She participated at the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In 1972, in an event for communist-controlled countries' junior athletes before the Olympics she was awarded three gold medals. Then in 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. In her first senior competition in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champ winning four gold medals and one silver. She was the first woman ever to successfully perform reverse double saltos while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the entertainment industry began during her teens when she started skating figure alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her career in entertainment in her teens. When she was a child, she began performing as a figure skating performer with Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating with theatrical shows.
