Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9th, 1976. She was born within Beaumont Puy in Domme. She was encouraged by parents, a dentist and a teacher who were both instructors to follow her love for acting. It was in stark contrast her earlier ambition to become a primateologist because she was a fan of monkeys. As a young woman she became a star was rapid and marked with initial success. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was able to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is the French show on TV that is a talent scouting initiative, which is sponsored by Canal+. She also received the award for Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The experience led her to start her acting career professionally. Though she was a student at The Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she's not Catholic. The model pursued her career as well as acting and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting profession she also has a keen interest in photography. She has recently displayed some of her photographs in Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival and wore the name Superficial. Her photography is focused on celebrities, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her rise to fame in Amelie. Additionally, there are several photographs that show her own self. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her debut role in the role of the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a box office film that received acclaim in award ceremonies all over all over the world. Amelie was the highest-rated movie in French language productions in the US. After this huge success, Tautou starred in several films, like British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She also starred alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
